When the test is activated, the chemical reacts with the sample on the swab to produce light. The amount of light produced is related to the degree of pollution. The light is measured using a 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Luminometer, and the findings are shown in Relative Light Units (RLU). The more polluted the sample, the higher the RLU number. This product is not designed for consumer usage. Monitoring cleaning effectiveness reduces the likelihood of a food safety issue. Contamination monitoring is straightforward with the 3MTM Clean-TraceTM Surface ATP UXL100, which provides real-time results. The ability to discover and confirm problems quickly enables fast corrective action. This tool requires little training to use and can be simply integrated into company HACCP programmes to track cleaning efficacy. It’s also simple to use and produces consistent, dependable outcomes.
